Responsible Luxury in Old Antibes
Luxury today is no longer defined by abundance alone. It is defined by emotion, authenticity, privacy, beauty, and connection to place — places designed not only to impress, but to make you slow down.
At ABSOLUTY Antibes, we believe that true luxury is not about excess. It is about space, light, silence, authenticity, and the privilege of experiencing a place with respect.
Rather than building new structures, we focus on restoring existing houses and preserving the architectural identity of the old town: stone walls, traditional facades, historic streets, sea-facing terraces, gardens hidden behind old doors.
Old Antibes naturally encourages a slower rhythm. Most experiences are accessible on foot: the beach, the market, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, the port, museums, and the Mediterranean shoreline.
We work daily with local artisans, cleaning teams, independent suppliers, cafés, restaurants, and small businesses that contribute to the life of Antibes throughout the year.
Our houses are not designed as standardized holiday rentals. They are carefully restored houses, rooted in the history of Old Antibes and thoughtfully prepared for modern Mediterranean living. We believe hospitality can be both refined and responsible.
Our approach is guided by a simple philosophy: protect what already exists and help it live beautifully for decades to come.
We encourage our guests to embrace this lifestyle: morning walks for fresh bread, long lunches under the sun, evenings on the terrace, local markets, coastal train journeys, and extended stays. For us, luxury is also the freedom to slow down.
Many of the recommendations shared with our guests are places we personally enjoy with family and friends. ABSOLUTY is deeply connected to the local community and to the people who make Old Antibes vibrant and authentic.
We continuously improve our houses with practical and responsible choices whenever possible, while maintaining a high level of comfort and quality. Depending on the property, this may include: LED lighting and energy-efficient equipment, high-quality linens designed for durability, refillable guest products, waste sorting solutions, responsible water and electricity usage, restoration and reuse of existing materials and furniture, and encouraging longer stays and lower-impact travel experiences.
We do not believe in performative sustainability. We believe in thoughtful decisions, made consistently over time.
“We do not claim perfection. Our commitment is simply to move in the right direction: to preserve the beauty of Old Antibes, reduce unnecessary impact where possible, and offer a more meaningful form of luxury hospitality.”
